sorry that nothing worked..it's just added work when you have to get returns....your customers can't say you are no help. your customer service was great and i hope they see that. and i would like to put you in the joe's tech review confirmed great service area of the site (watch stores) is that ok .
hey! that same instance happened to me thru sourcegate. they advertised a triband 506...when it arrived it still had the triband ad attached, but having the same trouble your customer is having i compLained to the agent and it was found to be a dual-band watch they misadvertsed..... it is possible that that particular watch is a dual -band.
remember, in my last message the signal strength of some watches are weakend because of location and also if a fm tuner is built in.
if he has put in all the settings correctly and the mcc/mnc code (310-260) is added..(it shouldn't have to be added if it is a tri-dand/quaud-band) and he still has no service, the watch is dual-band..
we have done all but take the phone apart and flash the board.
lastly..you can tell him to master restet the watch by putting the master code in (1122) and staRT OVER.
(IF THE CUSTOMER DOESN'T MIND THE WAIT FOR ANOTHER WATCH, GET IT BACK AND CHANGE IT OUT)
